I generally cover weddings which take up to an hour travel time (by car) from our home address in West Kirby, Wirral. I’m regularly travelling to places like St. Helens, Warrington, Ormskirk, Warrington, Chester, Mold, Ruthin, Knutsford, Wilmslow and of course the Wirral. I will certainly consider weddings further away, there is a small fee to cover travel time and costs. Please get in touch for more information.
This all depends on what package you choose, most of the time I start 90 minutes to two hours before the ceremony. Packages go up to the speeches or 9pm and then you can add extra time if required. It’s all here on our packages page.
Every Wedding is different so it depends on if you are having a Church Ceremony and how long the speeches last. On average they are between 60 minutes to two hours. You also receive a highlights video of around 5-10 minutes. I can also provide a one minute highlights reel for use on social media.
You will have the full audio for the ceremony, speeches and evening reception. Other audio from the day is audible but I place music tracks of your choice over the top to add emotion and atmosphere. The groom will be given a small lapel microphone to wear during the ceremony and a microphone will be used during speeches and for guests good luck messages.
It is extremely rare for a church to not allow filming. The majority are happy for filming to occur and usually tell us exactly where to position the cameras. Some don’t mind where they go but other prefer the cameras to be kept at the back of the church. This isn’t really a huge problem as it captures the vows really well.
For legal reasons we are not allowed to film the actual signing of the register, this is not a problem as we will set up a shot as soon as you are finished signing but with marriage register page turned over. If you are getting married in a church, please discuss filming with your church office. They may require you to pay a fee to allow filming and may restrict filming to the use of one camera in a fixed position.
This depends on what time of year your wedding is. During quieter months (November to April) it takes around four weeks and during busier times (May-Oct) it takes between four to six weeks. Although it only takes about a week to edit, the reason for the extra time is due to the backlog of weddings we have to get through, especially throughout the summer.
You are sent a link so you can watch, share, download your full Wedding Video. You will be given the option to create a free account and save your wedding video to your own Library keeping it safe forever (even if we closed our account).
If you'd prefer to have a DVD or USB then you can add these to any package.
Yes, your wedding video is provided on line as standard. You will be able to watch, share, download and password protect your wedding video forever.
Yes the Groom will have a small lapel microphone during the ceremony which will record the both of you saying your vows. A table top microphone is used to record the audio during the speeches and a hand held microphone is used to record the good luck messages from the guests. Obviously the video camera also records general sound too.
Yes. Drone footage is included within any package. This does depend on Weather conditions and also if the area/venue allow it. Some venues are on a flight path or too near the airport to allow drones.
Although it’s always well received if offered, there is no need to provide any food.
This is never a problem. I am a very laid back person and get on with anyone, many photographers recommend me because I work so seamlessly with them, it makes their day so much easier when they get on with the videographer.
I’ve been filming Weddings regularly every year since 1997. I’ve filmed so many different types of weddings at countless venues so you can be rest assured that you’d be booking someone who will take everything in his stride no matter what happens during your big day.
Another reason why this is a good thing; Every year we hear of videographers and photographers go out of business taking couples deposits and sometimes full payments with them. To be in business this long and still doing well shows you that I’m not just a here today gone tomorrow type of outfit. Apart from that, all deposits are put in a holding account which I don’t touch until the wedding day has arrived.
Yes, we have Public Liability and Professional Indemnity. We also have our electrics PAT tested every year.
I quite simply wear all black, it helps me blend into the day.
Yes of course, we do charge a little extra for this, but not much.
After the full lenght video there is a highlights video clip which lasts around one song. It’s footage of the best parts of the day in slow motion and put to a great sound track. You also get a link to the highlight clip so you can share with your family and friends via email or social media.
Always very touching, funny and enjoyable. The guests get the change to say a message direct to the camera, it’s often said that this is the Bride and Groom’s favourite part of the wedding video.
We have reduced the standard cost of the Photo Booth/Selfie Mirror on the price list to £300, this price is available to you only if you are booking us for the video too. If you wanted the photo booth on it's own (with no wedding video) then the price would be £350.

Yes we offer a 10% Discount for weddings that are between January to March or Monday to Thursday. Although we already offer affordable wedding videos, if you are holding your wedding during one of these dates then you can really get yourself a very affordable wedding video but without any compromise.
We do not promote the wedding video service in any wedding fayres around the Wirral, Liverpool and beyond.
I understand if you still feel a bit unsure, it’s a lot of money to spend if you’ve never met someone before. You are welcome to come over to see me at my house in West Kirby, we can have an informal chat about your wedding so you can see if I’m a good match to what you are looking for in a videographer. Alternatively we could do a face time on line.
It’s really easy, you would be required to complete a booking form which you can download from here or I can email / post one to you. There is also a £150 deposit to be paid which can be done by bank transfer, cheque or cash.
I’ve been in the Wedding Industry since 1997, so as you can imagine I have come across some wonderful suppliers who I believe can be of some benefit to your own wedding. I’ve created a page of recommended suppliers, I do not benefit from having this list, I don’t get any kick backs from any of them. I’ve just produced the list to hopefully help you find a reputable local supplier in this industry. Click here to see the list.
